After 6 years of medschool in Riga, my time as the leader and main organizer of the fieldhockey group comes to an end. I am very thankful that our heritage continues and the group is taken over. This year we had a last tournament on our own where we played 4v4 indoor.

At the end, we won the tournament with some very close games and were very happy to end the day with some nice drinks.

A special thank to the new leaders who appreciated our work and thank me in the end for all the work I have done over the years!

During my internship I could use the time to join HC Ludwigsburg once again for the second half of the season. We started with 4 points below HG Nürberg.After many intense and close games we managed to win the league with an outstanding win in the last game of the season. I was very happy to play with my old team mates and help them out.

After the first tournament in may we got an invitation for a second mixed tournament this time for the 10years anniversary of the pitch in Rundamina. We played 6:6 and consisted of a team of seven players that had a lot of fun.The first game was a bit difficult for us and we lost 4:3 but after that we won the other two games 6:2 and 4:2 and therefor had the most scored goals and ended on the first place. Thank you once again for a really nice weekend and see you in the indoor season.

After a long Covid break we finally got another invitation to compete against a Lithuanian hockey team. So, from the 20.5. until the 22.5. we travelled to Vilnius with the Riga Stradins University hockey team, consisting of players from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Italy.

Most of the team already arrived Friday evening, so that a chosen four of our players were able to compete in the real Lithuanian first field hockey league, for which they joined the Ardas Hockey team. With the help of our four players the team was able to win the game with 2:1. The rest of the team had a picknick at the pitch before we went back to the hotel.
